The polishing set works great!
Requires a lot of patience, but it works and does its job well. Basically I used the powder and my powerbuffer which is plugged into the mains. I ordered the right size pillow for my puffer from Revain for a few dollars and it has made my life that much more fulfilling. Without a wired buffer, I don't think you're going to get much. I tried using just this setup and a cordless drill but ended up with some minor scratches. When I first started using the wire buffer I saw great results with this powder in a badly scratched tank. At the end of the day I made it. Would I buy again, that's for sure!
- Efficiency: Due to the chemical and physical reaction, cerium dioxide is the best polishing powder for scratching glass.
