I live in Florida and have coconut trees all around me. We usually just throw away fallen coconuts and most people just dump them on the curb as trash. I started researching how to open a coconut and watched YouTube videos of people smashing coconuts onto rocks or throwing them from long distances to get inside. I saw this on Amazon and thought it wouldn't work but decided to have a laugh I would try. I was blown away by how easy it was to use this tool and get into the coconut. I was even more surprised when I saw how much water came out. I like this tool so much that I buy it for my neighbors. A note: it only works with green/yellowish coconuts that are not yet ripe. When a coconut has reached its adult size, a real hard-shelled coconut ball envelops the water, making it difficult to get in. Then you have to hack and slash into it.
