Best Performance Mod for M365

Here are the key points in my review of this suspension kit: • A very significant improvement in ride quality and definitely a must have for the m365. However, when driving over rough terrain, there is still rear wheel vibration, but it is definitely manageable/minimal. • The suspension helps prevent the folding assembly from wobbling as the handlebars no longer wobble excessively when riding over rough terrain. terrain relief. • Modifying 10” wheels is no longer a mandatory suspension change, which is great as larger wheels affect battery life and scooter acceleration. • The kit contains all the tools and parts to dismantle the existing front fork and assemble the kit. Removing the front wheel requires removing a nut on each side, which as previous reviews have mentioned can be tricky. Use a long rod/tube and attach to the end of the 16mm side of the crescent wrench provided. This gives you leverage when removing those nuts with a lot less effort, so you can be sure the wrench is secure during removal and won't strip the nuts. Glue the broom to the wrench if needed. With the scooter wheels on the ground, place the wrench on the nut so that you push it towards the ground (not up). Be patient and remember you don't need to use 100% force to install this kit. • Lubricate the inner walls of the spring piston assembly if the spring squeaks while riding. • An M6 socket head screw that mounts in the center of the folding unit. must be 30mm long (included). I have a 35mm long screw (I think I'm the only one). It can be easily found at any hardware store or cut to the desired length. • Decent quality kit design with 16 flanged ball bearings at the critical pivot points of this five link design. There is a cheaper cloned version of this kit with no bearings and a weaker design. Compare the thickness of the monorim kit's four connecting rods and side plates to the less expensive version to get a fair estimate. • The kit includes two springs that can be used depending on the rider's weight. Yellow is a lighter spring (50-100 kg) and blue is slightly stiffer (70-120 kg). You can find replacement spring piston assemblies like an air shock (150mm), but they can be expensive, costing almost as much as a suspension kit. You will also need a shock pump to adjust the air shock. An air shock is the ideal setup but is not required as the supplied springs work very well. • After assembly, the front mudguard can hit the spring piston while driving. In this case, place a piece of adhesive-backed felt at this point or add another washer to lower the front fender.
