I was sure my cat would never use this bed wherever I could find it, but I'm glad my wife didn't let me throw it away. One day I kept picking it up and putting it back in carefully every time I could. After about the 7th time he finally stayed and then started using it all the time. About once a month or two, he breaks the habit and starts dozing off somewhere else. But then I just gently get him to do it a few more times and suddenly he's back in his habit for a month or two. As long as it's near where I sit most of the time, it will return there even if I spend time elsewhere. I've washed it in the washing machine about 25 times so far and after 4 years it still feels great. This pet litter and occasional brushing will help keep hair out of our human bed and other places in the home.
