Review on Nokian Tires Nordman 7 185/65 R15 92T winter by Adam Joks ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very high quality product, it's not the first time I bought it.

Good afternoon I want to leave a review about the tire Hakkapeliitta 7 - now Nordman 7. I installed it as soon as I bought a car in November 2022 - KIA RIO on the machine. There are practically no studs left on 3 wheels for six seasons of operation (one wheel only still has 95% of studs), after 5 seasons the loss of studs averaged 20% on each, during 4 seasons the loss can be said not at all was (each year 1-2 studs per wheel). I chose Nokian because my brother had another 2nd and 4th generation (I liked it very much). You yourself understand that you can’t indulge an automatic machine with a gearbox in winter, you can’t skid too much, my Nokian 7 never let me down, never got a shovel in deep snow - it rows like an all-wheel drive, it also never blown away on ice even with a strong wind. On asphalt in frosty weather (up to zero degrees) confidently as in summer, temperatures above zero already require attention (slow reaction to braking at speeds above 60 km / h). Yesterday, I threw the wheels on my father-in-law's car, since the tread is still like new, and there is nothing for him on the village road, the main thing is rowing through snowdrifts! For the new season, I chose between Nordman 7 and Hakkapeliitta 8, but since I can afford a more expensive (premium) segment, I took Hakkapeliitta 8 (185 / 65R15 in Wheels for nothing cost 4100 apiece), but I think Nordman 7 was would be an excellent proven option that did not let down nirazu, but as they say, you need to choose according to your means and capabilities))). I think that out of all the rest, Nokian/Nordman left behind all competitors in terms of snow flotation and ice stability. Conclusion: choose what is checked and affordable for Nokian or Nordman.

Pros
  • Clear handling on ice, snowy terrain, good on any asphalt (dry and wet).
Cons
  • Unless, of course, these are shortcomings))). After 6 seasons of operation, there were practically no studs left on 3 out of 4 wheels, after 5 seasons, the loss of studs averaged 20% on each (except for one), during 4 seasons, the loss can be said not at all was (each year 1-2 studs per wheel).
