It was a great price so I reluctantly tried them out to save a lot of money. The first black cartridge worked great and I printed some long tax returns and more. Then I suddenly got an error message from my printer that the cartridge was defective. Was replaced with another which I was told was defective. So I went to my local Staples store and bought a genuine HP 56 cartridge. Problem solved. I have expressed my disappointment to ValueToner and am awaiting a response. Others say they are very responsive. Just take a look. I received a reply from the seller within 24 hours with suggestions on how to solve the problem. The suggestions worked and I now have a backup of my original HP cartridge. So my rating has been raised from 2 to 3 stars. Still a little disappointed with the hassle and cost of time and money. Another update (12/2020): I found that the colors of the color cartridge are wrong. For example, red does not exist. If I order again I'll just stick with black. Just plug in the black one and it works great for a fraction of the price of a new one.
