Artist's Dream Marker

I've been using Rendr paper for about a year now and I can safely say I like it. I use Pigma Micron and Copic almost exclusively so I can only talk about inks but they don't really show up. The first day I got it I left the Copic on it for about 20 seconds (video attached) just to test it out. NOTHING! I don't know what black magic they put into this paper to make that happen, but I'm grateful. This is the first time I've been able to use both sides of my sketchbook paper since my amateur pencil drawing days. I had no issues with color accuracy or blending. I've read some reviews that said the micrometers sit on top for too long and smear, but I personally haven't found that to be the case. Another thing I really appreciate about this paper is that it seems to absorb the Copic ink into the surface of the paper and also leaves it wet a little longer than I'm used to, making it easier to print large areas without Fill in streaks or spots like some other papers where the ink is on top (Copic, Bee). Other than that, it's not ideal. For starters, I would recommend the spiral version rather than the "flat". The flat version is fine if you want to remove the pages (they come out really nice), but for actual bookbinding that you carry around, the spiral binding wins out. It's hard bound and thanks to the spiral binding you can lay it flat (or stand it up if you prefer!). In terms of actual marker usage, there is still some feathering on this paper, although no more than other papers I've used (Borden & Riley #234, my second favorite paper). I've also noticed that the sides curl a little (not curl, but curl) when I'm done coloring. After the book has been closed for a while, it flattens out again, but that's frustrating when you're trying to get an immediate picture of the final product. Overall, I highly recommend this paper to marker artists!
