Excellent price. Installed on my 2004 Sierra 2500 4X4 6.0 V8 Denali Crew Cab. If you have trouble removing them, go slow. You don't want it to break on fat threads. A person once told me to put oil in a hole and leave it overnight if you think it might crack. Typically, the one closest to the windshield in a V8 is surprisingly the one that rots the most. Apparently there's more water on the other side of my truck's windshield. I've attached photos of the front and rear sensors. The one closer to the windshield (rear) was noticeably more rusty. You can also see where the front sensor is broken in the wiring harness. Just grab a new wiring harness and snip the wires instead of messing around trying to separate them. You may need a new intake manifold gasket. I replaced mine but kept the old one as it was still in good condition. I highly recommend changing the wiring harness and replacing both sensors at the same time. I recommend having a vacuum handy for cleaning under the intake. I just bought this used truck and it needed some maintenance. Just be careful not to scratch the metal or scrub too hard. It's also time to clean the throttle body. If the knock sensors have failed, the likely cause is cleaning the throttle body as well. Use a special throttle body spray and since the intake is disabled, remove the throttle body and take it to a workshop for cleaning.
