Comfortable, low compression

I work 12 hour healthcare shifts and have fairly large calves (18-19 inches) and wear size 9.5 shoes. I ordered L/XL but I'm wondering if a smaller coffee would have been better. BENEFITS: Easier to put on than most compression stockings. Comfortable, breathable material feels like cotton, unlike some that feel silky like the top of a pantyhose. loud or colorful, how unprofessional My feet will probably always hurt, but they offer a bit of comfort for the calves, more than regular socks but a little less than heavy compression stockings, so it's a good thing I don't have as deep dimples at the bottom as that Knee. I most likely wear them on days I'm not working. The price is definitely reasonable for 5 pairs. CONS: I think the 'medical' compression for this item is misleading, 'gentle' or 'casual' or 'standard' might be more appropriate descriptions. larger calves, but unfortunately the foot of the sock is almost 2 inches longer than my real (large women's) foot, so I have to pull the heel up a bit and flex the toe a little to put them on. fit"right". I wish there were wide calves/medium foot sizes. (Thick isn't always big/long! πŸ˜‚) Not sure how durable they will be, 1 wash and the designer threads seem to be wearing out a bit. I hung it out to dry because I wasn't sure how it would fit. I'll dry a sacrificial pair to see if that improves compression and update if that works.
