Maybe I should just put "4" at the moment because of the short period of use. However, I bought it prior to a major car service and repair because my existing 1/2" drive key had died. When this torque wrench arrived I compared it to a very high quality and expensive one that my neighbor has. He clicked. with exactly the same numerical values, so this looks more than accurate enough for any normal home use. handle. All of the 3/8 and 1/4 drive torque wrenches I've had over the years use the locking knob on the bottom with no failure or problems. While a direct comparison to a 1/2 drive might not be fair due to the higher torque pressure, I'm not sure I'm a fan of the ones with a locking ring on top that came out of the building. near the retaining ring. I've seen some comments on this wrench that said the clicks were pretty subtle when hitting the set torque. The one I have has very clear feedback like all devices I have had before. I've been wrenching for a few days lately and have used this tool a lot and it seems to work as well as any good torque wrench I've owned over the years. If that changes I'll definitely update.
