Review on Ambient Weather WS 2063 W Temperature Backlight by Dennis Moonin

Just received and installed today. I was attracted to the backlight feature in this unit and I have another ws-07 background product that has worked well for me for a couple of years. I'll comment later on whether the backlight is a disappointment at all. I don't expect any problems with this or the display. I have a probe but I will not use it. Wireless is preferred and I already have it with the ws-07. This was strictly for indoor use in another dimly lit room. I am disappointed with the accuracy of this device which differs by up to 2 degrees. It's within the stated variance so I can't complain, but it's like getting a fine from the IRS and a professional tax examiner shrugs and says, well, I came close. This could easily be fixed by providing the calibration feature that comes with other devices. Humidity readings differ by 6% between the two devices. I know the humidity is difficult and the close range in the area is enough for me. Overall it's a good device, but I expected a little more for $16. Calibration?
