Worst thermometer I have ever used - now in the trash
Thermometer base on counter) needs to be replaced after about 7 years of use. This thing never worked properly, didn't detect the right temperature (compare it to the old-fashioned leave-in type), and after several attempts to get it to work I just gave up and threw it away. The instructions that came with it are pathetic. I'm a tech savvy user with a lot of culinary experience so it's not user error :)
