I was very skeptical at first. The price is good, but how is the quality of the binoculars? I think it's cheap plastic with weights in it. Well I was pleasantly surprised and very impressed! They were larger than they appear in the photos. Very well built. Got a hard, hard feeling for her. Also has an anti-reflective, non-slip rubber coating throughout the set. Very clear images at close range. Easy quick focus to quickly view the action. Lens caps attach and detach so you can mount it on a tripod. You don't have to worry about where to place them when trying to take a close-up. I was confused by the soft case. My binoculars used to come with hard side cases, but they weren't very comfortable when hung on the shoulder. Always jumps past me. This bag is much more comfortable for hiking and could possibly use a little more padding and a longer strap. All in all a great pair of binoculars at a great price.
