Review on Conair Tourmaline Brush Round Medium by Michelle Ortiz

After clipping over the shoulder, my round brushes were too big. I've got a heck of a lot of time to find a good replacement. My hair is very thin so I need double bristles. (Brushes with rows of stiff bristles widely spaced don't grip and my hair slips through) This brush has a good grip, maybe too good? If you have thick hair I can see where this brush would be problematic. In no case should you wrap the hair around the comb - they will get tangled in the comb and it will be very difficult to pull the comb out of the hair. Since my hair is now too short to wrap around the brush, I can live with this part. What I can't live with for long is the way the silver ring on the handle grabs strands of hair and pulls them out. One of the most basic criteria for ANY comb should be that it is made with no places where you can snag strands of hair and then pull them out as you move the brush. My search continues, but I'll use this one (and lose hair) until I find something better or until I have enough hair left to blow dry.
