Faulty TFI when delivered
The TFI was defective when delivered. I had intermittent power cuts on the first day. It was sort of an emergency pre-ride setup so I hooked up a 3 year old TFI motor to this new distributor and it works great. I'm pretty sure the non-motorized electrics for Fox cases are known as junk, but I still needed a new case as the original bearings were removed.
