This yarn is really nice. Very soft and soft, fun to work with. The colors are very rich and pretty and for the most part this is a five star yarn. NOW THE UNACCEPTABLE PART - Each of these sections is a mini skein. Too many of these small strands had a knot, meaning even a short piece of each color (25.4 yards) is not a continuous thread. This is just ridiculous and totally unacceptable. And I don't want to hear blah blah blah industry standards saying it's acceptable. This is not for the small strand. The smaller the footage, the more you lose by cutting the lame knot they make and creating a new one that's not a giant blob. I was very disappointed. There were TWO NODES on a small lot. Two knots at 25.4 yards. Nothing tells a customer like a lack of quality control. OK. It's an open sandwich. Like I said BEAUTIFUL yarn but oh my god. I feel cheated.
