I wasn't aware of this company but was looking for a replacement 100fdx device to achieve gigabit speeds over single mode simplex fiber (the device I replaced was Planet Fast Ethernet Bridge 10/100Base-TX). If you are looking for a solution beyond the sfp module, I recommend this device. After running a few tests with fiber, I consistently hit close to 900 Mbps with minimal to no packet loss. The test I used was a powershell script that wrote a dummy file to a mapped drive at the other end of the fiber. To ensure that 900Mbps is a hard drive limitation and not a media converter bottleneck, I ran the same test on the same network segment (not over fiber) and the results were comparable.
