Perfect solution for my 1947 Crosley sedan

I needed a modern approach to the key ignition for my 1947 Crosley so I combined this switch with a 6V automotive relay to better meet the electrical needs of this car to fulfill and to improve the starting sequence. There is an auxiliary position (ACC pin) for connecting wipers and radio, an ignition position (IGN pin) for connecting the electrical ignition spark, sensors and charge feedback, a battery position (BAT pin) for turning on the vision light switch and the brake light switch horn, a signal and finally an instantaneous home position (centre of the column) to activate the starter magnet via the vehicle's starter relay. No more turning the key and pressing a button to start the car, everything is done with the key, just like new cars! Good amperage too. Works fine on a 6 volt machine and I'm pretty sure it will work the same on a 12 volt system. This switch doesn't care if your vehicle uses a positive or negative ground system. Notes: The current starter position (middle end bar) disables the ACC rack (accessory) to protect the radio during engine start. ACC stays on in the IGN position. Clockwise key positions (ACC, OFF, IGN, START). The key can only be inserted and removed in the OFF position. The ACC, IGN and BAT connectors are labeled on the back panel. The end post of the current starting position is not marked and is raised in the middle between other end posts. My switch comes with a matching set of four keys. I would suggest connecting the backup switch to the IGN post, not the BAT or ACC posts. Connect wiper motor power to the ACC so you can wipe the window while parked and listening to the radio with the engine off. Robust and high quality switch. Thanks very much!
