Amazingly bright

This device is not a toy. From the first lift, it's immediately clear that this is a premium kit. It's fairly small but surprisingly beefy, the design is sleek, the build quality is excellent (all components seem to be very well machined to tight tolerances) and most importantly, it emits an absurd amount of light. No seriously. This thing is complete overkill at best. Unless you regularly ride nasty, technical trails in complete darkness, using higher brightness levels is actually quite dangerous. I have this light mounted on my helmet and I can honestly say that I feel just as safe on my electric skateboard at night as I do during the day because THIS LIGHT ISSUES PHOTONS LIKE A SMALL SUN. Feet (even more so when it's attached to my helmet) that blends seamlessly with the close-range flow. Speaking of which, the sidelight feature is a game changer. At the same time, it preserves your peripheral vision and reduces contrast across the entire field of vision, making eye work much easier. You'll find that you feel more confident and situational when driving, and I honestly couldn't imagine going back to my old settings. In my opinion, a 90 minute run time on a 1500 lumen setting is much more beneficial than a 45 minute run time on a 1800 lumen setting). I didn't use the included mount, but the hardware seems solid enough. Overall, I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants the coolest, brightest standalone light in this price range. Oh, and just one last reminder, if you use this thing at max brightness YOU WILL BLIND AND AMAZE ANY BEING YOU ENJOY. Save drive!
