It's easy to install, easy to adjust, durable, affordable and comes with almost everything you need. You may need to purchase some washers/nuts and additional plate screws to get the plate to fit. In my experience it would be very easy to mount it on a bumper with pre-drilled holes. I used it on my 2013 C350 which has a sharp edged front bumper making it difficult to fit the plate properly. I didn't want to drill holes in my bumper so I decided to attach the bracket to my mesh grille and then attach the plate. It took some effort, but the bottom and top rows of diamond-shaped grille on the grill proved half-assed (the screws go through the large diamonds). I put the screws in the small holes and then attached the other sides with washers and nuts. After that I aligned the bracket where I wanted and just attached the license plate. Edit: There is noticeable rust on the metal after a year of use, but it still works well.
