Good price. I needed something to read my music CDs because my external hard drive wasn't working with the backup and it held my collection of over 100 digital CDs. My current computer does not have a built-in CD drive. Everything is fine with this device, except that sometimes it is difficult to close it. The lip on the drawer hangs too low when open and when you try to close the drawer it won't close. does not close properly because it hangs a little. To close it you have to fiddle with it and try to level it. I compensated by flipping the device on its back when I close the drawer and it closes smoothly. I paid $20 for it. For me this small inconvenience is not a big deal as the device was very cheap. I replaced a Dell unit with this one (I bought a Dell USB DVD-DW316 and it failed within an hour). This device has been used. I ripped CDs nonstop to my new external hard drive for a whole day and it worked like a champ.
