Got 24 packs because it had more pink but you will have more green and brown you know what to do with lol (good for sketches to pictures). Just watch them on YouTube for a full overview, they basically cover everything. I used to be a regular user of a graphite mechanical pencil, so I've noticed that it almost never smudges or marks on the opposite side when you draw on the back. Another difference is that you feel like you're wasting your pencil if you sharpen it to get a point (use sandpaper if you just want a point without sharpening more than you need). Big Prisma wants you to buy their sharpener so you're not less likely to break your lead, but when I got mine I immediately baked my pencils (youtube how to make it safe) and put them in a bubble wrap box and goodbye , SHARP sharpener is sufficient and does not use force when sharpening. Basically, treat these pens like glass and you'll never have a problem with the tips continuing to break. I warn you that they don't completely erase and most crayons erase the same way as this one. So you can just use whatever pens you have and they might as well be erased if you want to save money :)
