I found it relatively easy to install. The guides and templates on the Bafang website were very helpful, as were the many YouTube videos on how to convert a bike to an e-bike using the Bafang kit. I use it almost every day to get to and from work and have used it as a river cruise shuttle. It tackled steep hills with ease (I have a 44t rear sprocket and nine gears). The big plus is that I saved a few thousand dollars on what I would spend to buy a new pre-assembled e-bike. So far I'm quite satisfied.
