I have never owned a float tube. My dad had a round old one that he always used, but I've never had one until now. I did a lot of research and read reviews. This particular float tube is great value for the money. Plenty of pockets to stash gear. I've read reviews about the float chamber with poor back support that a few people have mentioned. yes, you have to adjust the front seat belt for the back seat. it got a little uncomfortable after a while. So I went to a pool supply store and bought pool noodles and cut them 13 inches long and then I split them in half. I made three of these. up to 11-12 inches long and I put all three dowels in half to keep them together. a dowel on top, one in the middle, and one on the bottom of the pasta halves to hold them together. Then I put the noodles I just made into the back of the seat and it makes it much stronger and more comfortable to sit on. As I said, this is my first float tank and I love it. I also went and bought a small 1.5 lb kayak anchor. and it also works like a charm. Also, the pump that is advertised along with this one is also very good. happy sailing
