Nice microwave, but the Panasonic NN-CD87KS Home Chef 4-in-1 Microwave Oven

I have had this unit for 1 1/2 months now (purchased 10th July 2020) and it is a very nice panasonic microwave this replaced my 38 year old panasonic microwave which died almost 2 months ago I did a lot of research and decided to buy this unit which gives me the addition of air frying and convection cooking I would recommend this product Giving 5 stars but I ran into a major design flaw too late to return now This model, the Panasonic NN-CD87KS Home Chef 4-in-1 Microwave Oven uses a humidity sensor to detect steam from food to see if the dish is cooked. That should be great But it's not because this model has a serious design flaw that can be turned on immediately after accidentally pressing the START button, without the need to set cooking parameters (time, power level or product type). By pressing the START button, it turns on and starts when there is no food or liquid to heat, and displays the cooking process in SENSOR mode. I accidentally turned my new microwave on multiple times by accidentally pressing the STOP button and I immediately pressed STOP/RESET to cancel the accidental heating of the empty microwave. If an empty block is heated in the microwave for a long time, the magnetron of the microwave oven may be damaged. Over the past few weeks I've made it a habit to put a cup of water in the microwave after use. If I accidentally hit it, it would heat the water to create the necessary steam for the humidity sensor to turn off the microwave. Note that the water in the ceramic mug boiled for over 30 seconds before the sensor turned off the microwave. This microwave oven is not safe for small children or even teenagers and adults walking past the appliance where the START button can be easily pressed. with rucksacks, sports bags, etc. in a narrow kitchen. If you have pets such as For example, a dog pawing at the kitchen counter or poking their nose into plates on the kitchen counter when you're not looking, these pets could accidentally turn on this microwave model. I wonder how many other microwave models have this design flaw that allows you to turn them on with one touch?
