Works well / short cord
Heats up instantly. The fan is quieter than expected. Light. acceptable price. Used for heating heat shrink tubing and soldering butt joints. 4 stars given because the power cord is short; annoyingly only 3ft, and unless your outlet is very close, it needs to be more than 4ft to allow heater maneuverability around your work. I used needle nose pliers to hold the work so the heat didn't burn my fingers. The power button would be more convenient if it were placed closer to the fingertip rather than on the back. I would like a reflector for quick heating.
- Heats up quickly Temperature cannot be adjusted but heats up quickly. It can reach around 200Β°C/390Β°F in a matter of seconds.
