2900 square foot house with all wood floors and tile in the basement - this Shark cleaned everything in a quarter and a half tank and it was the first steam cleaner I took out in time and it's good to go through the painted and difficult places. (And time for our two teenage daughters to try mopping for the first time - that alone was worth the money) We used one side of the two supplied (4 sides total) cleaning mats and the floors are great. The shark heats up quickly and keeps an even and constant volume of steam on the mop head all the time. A few more rooms have been cleaned since then - bathrooms, laundry, and I'm having a lot of fun doing it. The cable can very easily be a nuisance, but for this necessary and very minor issue I get perfectly clean floors. still on maximum heat (but I will) - this is more than effective on medium vapor, and I've been followed by those who think Max = Plasma Mode / Ground Melting. Gentlemen will of course wait until they come out to taste it. No more nasty, smelly, moldy and moldy mops that last a few months at best and are a money pit for replacement sponges/heads. Wallet useless mop drama. Goodbye forever.
