I'm trying to build a fuel system with some stock on my C5 Corvette. We are approaching 500hp and the lack of factory and cheap parts is starting to show. I've never had an issue with GM quick couplers, but given the level of my build and the way the fuel lines go from hardline to flex right over long pipeheads, I really want to take every precaution beforehand. Big Boy -8 fitting, seals like magic, affordable as hell and made by a legit brand. what more do you want Get in the boat. Even if you're only flirting with the need for a huge fuel system, it's more affordable to build once than twice. Buy good things and do it right. If you're fed up with the big N/A performance issues, your rebuilt fuel system is already ready for the boost.
