I purchased this product and installed it on a new Macbook Pro 16' i7, $2600 computer and within 24 hours I had my laptop opened it up and there was a thin crack down the center of the screen that started right where that cover was. I removed the cover immediately, but the damage was already done. A screen repair costs over 3/4 the cost of a laptop and it was probably the worst time that has ever happened to me in my life. If you have new laptops with advanced screens, just know that such a product is not worth the risk.
