I don't know what killer tomatoes the reviewers are eating to destroy this little tomato pitter. Sure, it's not thick steel, but the stainless steel it's made of is strong enough to support a bunch of tomatoes. I've been using this little tool for about 3 years now. During that time I have pitted a few hundred tomatoes and the tool is the same as I bought it. Norpo Tomato Seed This inexpensive little tool has made cooking tomatoes quick and easy. I would recommend it to anyone who likes to cook with fresh tomatoes.
