After I installed the bidet on my toilet, the shutoff valve from the extension joint leaked and because it was an old valve it wouldn't even close anymore, and every time I needed to do something I did had to turn off the main valve, I figured why not just replace the entire valve with one of these split ones. So here's the problem, this valve has the lowest flow rate in my house so once removed with the power off the water drips like crazy making soldering impossible. Since the thing is best, no soldering and quick assembly. I was able to cut off the old valve, clean the pipe to prepare it for the new valve, and reattach it in just a few minutes. There is also no pipette and the shut-off valve WORKS behind the toilet. I think I can still get the flare nut to shut the second hole if I ever decide to get rid of the bidet.
