Each year our family loves to collect new and special Christmas decorations that can be passed from generation to generation. This rules out pretty much anything made out of plastic or requiring batteries or Wi-Fi. However, it does contain natural wood items, particularly those that have been hand-painted. I know it's rare these days to find something artistically drawn by a single artist, but many things still have some level of human touch. It's nicely detailed, at first glance no worse than those that are 70 years old. It's small and easy to put in a place where others are too big. The magic of this is that it has a fully hidden music box inside, and when spun it plays a wonderfully pleasing tonal version of the Dance of the Sugar Fairies as it slowly spins. If you notice that the wire holding the gold-based nutcracker is a bit broken, don't panic, it's not broken, that shows nothing is perfect and, as Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky intended, the nutcracker is dancing always a bit chaotic. YES OR NO Definitely yes, this is surprisingly nice for such a low price, the quality of the music box is amazing and if the festive spirit doesn't warm your heart then bullshit.
