K&N filters usually look fluffy and tight, although they let more oil or air through. This oil filter is made in Korea and looks like a plain paper filter with fewer wrinkles than even a regular paper filter. I haven't done any scientific testing to be sure, but its design doesn't give me reassurance that it'll be good for the 15,000 miles I typically use premium Mercedes fleece filters. They were cheaper than the Fram and I'm concerned that they are of lower quality as well. I probably won't buy again and will change them after 7.5 thousand miles.
