I use it pretty much the opposite of most people looking for a durable waterproof bag to keep water out. I want the water to stay in the bag. This bag is perfect for that. I carry this bag when sailing Hobie Cat sailboats to use as a "support bag". Short version: Sometimes I don't have enough weight to right the boat after capsizing. . This waterproof bag can be filled with water and tied to the boat to add weight and get the boat upright again. I use a 20 liter bag to line our heavier boats and a 10 liter bag to line a smaller, lighter boat. For example, the possibility of attaching the bag to the catamaran's trampoline. The diamond pattern of the ripstop fabric looks great.
