Definitely worth the investment

I usually use a good quality microphone with a professional mixer for my podcasts. However, I did have the opportunity to interview a guest on his way to a DJ at a radio station in New Jersey. I took my portable mobile studio (very expensive, I must add) and it ended up not working. GENERAL. I decided to try a USB mic that plugs directly into my computer and almost immediately came across an advertisement for the Tonor Q-9. The best decision I could have made! It arrived within 4 days and I immediately booted up my Macbook Pro to try it out. I was very impressed with this kit. I'm not saying it sounds as good as my more expensive, high-end mic, but my USB interface requires a computer to work. Which makes my expensive studio setup completely useless as a fully mobile solution. However, the Tonor Q-9 USB mic is exactly what the doctor ordered for my show on the go. It's crisp, it records effortlessly, and once I hit the sweet spot I was able to record with no echo or background noise. The little noise I encounter I can correct in post-processing during editing. I do it anyway, no matter what microphone I use. It might not be the best mic you can buy at any price BUT for the money - you can't beat it at all. As well as the microphone, you also get accessories that you have to buy from most other brands on the menu. So yes!. If you're looking for a decent, inexpensive USB mic for podcasting, gaming, or even recording vocals for music, I have no hesitation in recommending the Tonor Q-9 USB mic. If not as a primary, then at least as a very good backup!
