The material and quality of this jacket is much better than I expected. It will be fantastic for cold weather and rain. The zipper is reflective and there's even a little compass on the sleeve which I wasn't expecting. Not too thick to be uncomfortable for a child, but thick enough to be a great winter coat. Usually when I order jackets from Revain they are very cheap and thin but this one is fantastic! My daughter is almost 7 and just wore a size 7 (she is 70% of the weight and 40% of the height). I ordered 7/8 and it's perfect with some room to grow. Very happy with this purchase! I highly recommend!
