
Handy little tool to help you save money on glassware. I don't think pieces of crystal made today are as good as those made 20 or 30 years ago. Even consumable points get covered with chips and ruin them. (Don't wash your crystal in the dishwasher as it's too hot for it right now.) I had an $18 crystal jar, after a few uses I got a chip so I decided to give it a try. Worked very well, the glass is usable but the damage is clearly noticeable. (I'm using this jar for someone I don't like.) I think if I can keep a few other jars with it over the years it will be worth buying.
