I've only had them for a few weeks, but I like them a lot better than a pocket comb. I used them when I was young and I remember using them back then and really liking them. I can't tell how well they will hold up from seeing other reviews of the finger loop breaking, but who cares about the price. I have no questions about how they feel on the scalp. I have read other reviews that they are too sharp and not soft enough. I prefer the massaging effect on the scalp and my hair isn't the thickest. I also think they work better on wild hair than a traditional comb. My fingers are quite large and I have no problem with the finger loop size. I use my middle finger and can comfortably slide my finger down to the second knuckle and that's all it takes for a secure grip. In summary, I have to "personally" disagree with most of the negative comments I've read and am glad I didn't let that influence me and haven't tried them after so many years. In the end, the user has to decide for himself. For the price if you think about it you should give it a try.
