Sweet and spicy, not exactly seasonal but worth a try

This is a delicious drink, a little spicy but not too spicy. This is a great example of a spicy pepper beer, and the seasonal base works well. The only thing I don't like about the recipe is that the beer is too sweet for my taste and it doesn't use real seasonal yeast. If I had to brew this beer again I would omit the agave syrup and go with a less sweet beer and also use seasonal yeast to get a more authentic taste. I think the jalapeno flavor would really benefit from a little less sweet, a little more smoky or wheaty, and a little bit of that traditional barn smell. It's not a bad mix, however, and is a fairly balanced drink of warmth and sweetness.
