Review on Ibera Triangle Frame Bag: Organize and Carry Essentials on Your Bicycle! by Matt Weber

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Slightly awkward size.

Based on previous reviews it's actually SMALLER than I expected but barely big enough for what I need it for. I bought it to carry my kryptonite chain, lock and cable (which works great) and it rides much more reliably than I imagined (not shifting the heavy 8 lb load). However, this is just a product of unwieldy dimensions. A large one will take up all the space of your frame. The media takes up ENOUGH space in the frame to make it very difficult (although possible) to fit anything else like a sports bottle in frame space and the Aduro (which, given the small version, is essentially a 'small' version of an Ibera product ) to use does not exist) too small for serious carrying, apart from small snacks and pocket items such as wallet and keys. This is a great product with great benefits. Just think about what you need it for and buy accordingly. One aspect of this back (I have yet to decide if this is a bug or a feature) is that it opens with a side zip. I thought it was a SIDE POCKET at first when I bought it. No, this is the main pocket access. BUT it allows you to get to everything you keep in it while on the bike (which doesn't serve me well considering I only keep padlocks there, but could be useful for most users of this bag). I give it. 5 for commuting, 0 stars for "safety features" considering they don't have any and I haven't used them in the rain yet so I'm not commenting on that aspect. If you want to stow something without upsetting the weight distribution or profile of your bike, that's it.

Pros
  • It's amazing
Cons
  • Some bugs
