Fiction! in cycling

I bought this for my brother's plus size bike and it's the perfect size for his bike. He rides a Trek 3500 that he converted into an electric bike. - He mainly uses it to store all his e-bike junk and it easily fits a controller and two 6-cell LiPo batteries. He used to keep everything in a rear bike rack bag, but this triangular bag is so much better and he ditches the rear bag in favor of this one. - We plan to coat it with waterproofing spray to make it more secure, BUT it's relatively…

Weight and wind resistance

I race up and down the Pacific coast on a road bike. I recently bought a raincoat to keep me dry in the early morning fog and haze. Unfortunately it is too big for the pockets of my sweaters when folded. So I bought a big triangular bag to put my raincoat in when I don't need it anymore. When I first started shopping for a bag that could hold a light-to-midweight jacket, the only bags big enough to get the job done were handlebar mounts. I ride in an area with fairly strong headwinds - 7 to 15…

Quality product - Sport

I am very satisfied with this bag. I bought a large size to fit my road bike and it has enough room to squeeze a water bottle into the holder below (may be tighter on some bikes). It's not waterproof and doesn't claim to be, but on a couple of recent commutes (10 miles in torrential rain) it's worked pretty well. The thin outer pocket protects the larger inner pocket a bit, but you'll still need a bag, plastic sleeve or similar for papers or books. In terms of capacity, I can fit a book or two,

Good tool storage solution

Just received this, installed and road tested it. The "large" size of the Ibera triangular pannier fits snugly on the triangle of my standard low-rental mountain bike. (I didn't bother to measure as I thought it was a standard size and I got lucky.) The following items fit comfortably in the bag: portable air tire pump, 2 spare inner tubes, tire changing kit (with tire levers, flat wrench and bike multitool) as well as gloves and wet wipes. There is a separate zipped pocket on the outside…

Slightly awkward size.

Based on previous reviews it's actually SMALLER than I expected but barely big enough for what I need it for. I bought it to carry my kryptonite chain, lock and cable (which works great) and it rides much more reliably than I imagined (not shifting the heavy 8 lb load). However, this is just a product of unwieldy dimensions. A large one will take up all the space of your frame. The media takes up ENOUGH space in the frame to make it very difficult (although possible) to fit anything else like a

Great fit well made bag at a good price

This is the "first five star rating" based on my unboxing, inspection, installation and a couple of short (empty) rides. mentioned problems in the quality control of Ibera bags. I have inspected it carefully for loose stitching, protruding threads, loose zippers, snapped clasps, etc. and found nothing bad. The zippers were strong and smooth. Velcro fasteners were firmly fixed and were the same length. The piping was done straight and the overall proportions were as shown in the picture. I have…
