Excellent as a reducer or extension for air ducts, as a last resort

Unconventionally used as a 4" to 3" adapter (male on both ends, 4" and 3 ID in my case) for bathroom exhaust fan. The standard metal parts found in accessory stores were either too long to fit in the To fit space I wanted or had a male/female configuration which didn't work for me This created a good tight seal on both channels which has been working successfully for several months now.
