Worked pretty well on my review.
The spikes seemed to work well. I used them on my outside potted plants while I was away on vacation for 15 days. Only two plants seemed to be struggling when I returned. One I know was due to the fact that the end that was suppose to be in the water supply wasn't. In the other plant both spikes were dry even though they were still connected to the water source. Not sure what happened because the plant was not dead so I know that the spikes had been working. Anyway, I am pleased with the spikes and will reuse them next year when I am away.

- The waterers may disrupt the natural water cycle of plants
