Review on 🔪 Premium Walnut Magnetic Knife Holder Strip - 12 inches, USA Made by Trevor Garrett

Love these holders. They can withstand a lot without any problems. My knives are spoiled for cooking (not recommended) and quite heavy. As you can see, these holders have no problem holding them. The problem I have found is that most items other than knives are NOT metal and will not stick to a magnet (spoons, cleavers, knives) (these are "scrap chrome"). HANDLE. Some do to protect hands, this will NOT work for you. The wood is quite thin and doesn't allow thickness past the blade before you hit the wall and the magnet doesn't hold. I wish they were better packaged. The review asks if they are making a good GIFT. They WOULD be if there wasn't a CHEAP CHINA box falling apart (USELESS for the price of this piece of wood. I think a better box could have been sourced). If you want to REMOVE the contents, drop the box and put it in a prettier box, a GOOD GIFT of course. But spend that dollar and get a really crappy box. OK. I attached four 16 pound command strips to the wall. I installed, left overnight, then tightened the knives. NO PROBLEM. BUT when I draw the knives I rotate to avoid jarring the command strips as the magnetic hold is strong and if I pulled straight I would probably rip everything off the wall. I bought 4, two 18" and two 20" BUT the boxes weren't clearly labeled and I thought I ordered all the same size so I didn't pay attention when installing. So I ended up only using two since I messed everything up. (I use the other two at camp). So, again, BOXING, PACKAGING should be better. (Also READing the articles before installing would have helped me. LOL) Good product, nice.
