This Weather NOAA radio was good value and arrived on time and in good condition. It has a dial for 'Tune', 'Volume' when it's on. On the same side there is a slide switch for a flashlight with 3 LEDs, and on top there is a switch marked "WB", "AM, FM". On the other side is a handle, retractable antenna, and a selector switch for "rechargeable batteries" or user-installed "AA" batteries. This side also has a removable panel for installing these batteries. In addition, there is an LED charge indicator on the handle that says "Dynamo". The reception isn't the best, probably because I can go outside or go to the window to get the best reception. The radio can be rotated for better reception. The antenna also rotates 180 degrees for better reception. The handle must rotate at 2 revolutions per second (1 thousand and one, 1 thousand and 2 for every 2 seconds) to charge properly. It is made of strong red and black plastic. I wish the flashlight had more LEDs but I got this one working in my house and since it no longer has rechargeable batteries. I think it will work fine on one charge, I charged and tested it about once a month. I would recommend this product to others for an all weather handheld emergency radio and flashlight.
