My husband doesnt find them to be all that helpful swapped out from the insoles he was using. The waffle design allows too much feel of bumps and such to come through. He concedes that it may be a matter of the shoe itself as he has a couple of spots that tend to wear through insoles quickly, and that it could be a matter of weight. Someone on the lighter side may find more cushioning and support versus a heavy individual. I normally would have used these, but I had him try it out as he had an emergent need for them. I think they would work if overlayed another insole. Though that depends on if you have room. They do seem to have a squishiness that I find appealing.So overall rating from him is that they are "OK". 3 stars
