Really wish it would work well as my crush was often stuck in a drawer. Maybe good for potatoes. But I use my crusher for egg salad, bananas, strawberries, etc. The first thing I tried was eggs for salad. Definitely terrible for that. The nylon just isn't sharp enough. The eggs get stuck in the holes and are difficult to pick out. If I still need my old stainless steel crusher, it's best to put it in a donation box. A stainless steel collapsible crusher instead of nylon may be fine.
