You will NOT be satisfied with this product
If you have a black painted fireplace you will NOT be satisfied with this product. The large transparent plastic screen (required to reflect the flames) will stand out against any dark background. If you're one of the few people who have a white-painted fireplace, you'll love it because you can't see the screen. I have a place where I can use it so I'm keeping it, but I'll be buying other devices for my other rooms.
