Review on 🚀 Enhance Engine Performance with DC Sports CAI5529 Polished Cold Air Intake System by Kaushik Hall

I bought this for my 06 TL. Follow SanDiegoDrive's YouTube video on how to install CAI which was perfect and very helpful. Installation took an hour because it was my first time, but it can easily be done in less time. This kit has no problems installing for 04-06 UA6 TL but I'm pretty sure it has problems installing for 07-08 UA7. because of the fog lights. If you have Accord/Inspire fog lights for your TL they may not fit properly due to the location of the filter. I believe this is the cheapest TL CAI you can get on the market and does the same job as the more expensive ones (AEM, Injen, Fujita). To be honest with other more expensive models you are paying mainly for the name and finish of the whistle. I don't think CAI is doing anything for the TL other than making it sound more aggressive on the throttle. I removed the intake resonator prior to installation and there is a huge difference in how loud it sounds when you open the throttle. Cold starts and idle are louder and deeper than before. And, as always, at a speed of 2.5-3 thousand rpm, a pronounced hiss / screech can be heard. This is perfectly normal, but can be annoying. I can't say anything about an increase in performance/torque. Several horsepower not felt with a dynamometer, but my mind tells me that my car is faster now, which of course I'm completely happy with. I gave this CAI 4 stars because what I received did not match what was pictured. Instead of a gloss finish like the photo, it was matte and looked cheaper. There was no label on the tube either. They only offer a very cheap "DC Sports" sticker to stick on the tube. This is not surprising either, given the price. Otherwise this CAI works as it should.
