Review on Dremel EZ406 02 Cut Off Mandrel Cutting by Marcos Fiallo

I don't normally write reviews but in this case I would like to comment. These cutting discs are absolutely terrible. They fail at astronomical speeds. Type of malfunction - separation of the metal insert from the fiberglass disc (see attached photo). I had two errors installing a new disc on a Dremel before actually using it. The metal insert detached from the fiberglass disc in my hand. Recently, out of 10 new products, 5 hard drives failed. If the failure rate is so high, the manufacturer should be aware of it. Is it a poor prognosis or a systemic quality issue? Maybe it's engineering design? Never buy a Dremel tool for an EZ-Lock cutting wheel. You will be disappointed.
